Greetings, Beautiful Soul!
I am inspired by 1701 day ( Star Trek day! In case you are not a total sci-fi nerd like I am, NCC-1701 is the registry number of the USS Enterprise) and the parallels I see in the most famous phrase from the show and an interesting card from the Minor Arcana of the tarot. In the words of Spock, I find this "Fascinating".
In the cosmic tapestry of the tarot, each card unfolds a unique tale—a story woven with symbols, astrological and elemental correspondences and archetypes. Today, let's explore the Ten of Coins, which in various decks are represented as Pentacles, Earth, Stones, Disks, Deniers or Crystals. Imagine this card as a portal to a realm where prosperity, legacy, and the echoes of 'Live Long & Prosper' resonate in harmony.
In the Rider Waite Smith tarot, we see an old man sitting in the courtyard of a castle surrounded by symbols of abundance watching generations of younger family laughing and dancing around. We see symbols of plenty, his cloak embroidered with large bunches of grapes, rich tapestries on the wall, a noble's dogs, coats of arms hang on the wall in which we see the scales of Justice (perhaps indicating the ideals of fairness and weighing equally the merits of both sides to a situation) and large golden pentacle coins superimposed around this lush scene.

The Vulcan axiom, uttered by the wise Spock, transcends its science fiction origins and aligns with the profound message of the ten of coins. It's not just a wish for material wealth but a call to embrace a life rich in abundance across generations. In the world of tarot, this card unfolds as a tapestry of familial bonds, financial security, and the enduring legacy we leave behind.
At its core, the Ten of Coins invites us to consider prosperity in its multifaceted brilliance. It beckons us to build foundations that stand the test of time, much like the legacy of Vulcan philosophy itself. As we navigate the intricate symbolism of the card, we discover the importance of ancestral wisdom, the strength of familial ties, and the lasting impact of our contributions to the world.
Just as 'Live Long & Prosper' echoes a desire for a life well-lived, the ten of coins urges us to create a legacy that extends beyond our years. It speaks of financial stability, not just for our sake but as a gift to the generations to come—a testament to the enduring wisdom passed down through the ages.
To quote from Colette Baron-Reid's The Good Tarot as she writes on the Ten of Earth... "I am now able to step back and observe the results of what I have built through my dedication and hard work....... I have achieved mastery and inherited treasures of knowledge and experience thanks to all I have been through"
In the empowered voice of the tarot, 'Live Long & Prosper' becomes an anthem for a life of abundance in all its forms. It's a call to cultivate a prosperous legacy, to build a foundation that ensures not just our own well-being but the prosperity of our kin. As you delve into the wisdom of the Ten of Coins, envision a life where abundance is not a fleeting moment but a continuous flow—a legacy that echoes through time.
May the wisdom of the Ten of Coins inspire you to embrace a life where you 'Live Long & Prosper,' leaving behind a legacy of abundance that transcends the boundaries of time and space.
With cosmic blessings and the hope that you will, indeed, Live Long and Prosper,
Richelle
